To provide an opportunity for homeless Veterans to participate in steps toward employment, resume writing, interview skill building, and securing a temporary address for employment purposes; we also provide transportation to and from jobs.
To provide services which meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of individuals and their families.
To provide a self - help environment which encourages the individual to develop self-reliance in order to increase the probability of long term growth and sobriety.
To provide a safe and drug-free residential environment through the provision of semi-independent living accommodations which assist in the initial development of independent living skills.
To provide economic management training services through available professional service providers.
To provide structured interactions for the entire family, which encourages the strengthening of the family unit through the provision of therapeutic and recreational activities.
Emmanuel House per Diem Transitional Housing program is designed to provide quality, affordable housing programs and services to homeless veterans in the Metro Detroit area.
Emmanuel House utilizes an employment specialist that provides weekly programming to include entrepreneurial training and career development skills.
A Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) supervises and tracks medication and their side-effects in addition to providing the advocacy and support needed to ensure the residents are getting solid treatment.
Emmanuel House - Recovery Program provides substance abuse assistance for both men and women (up to 60 days) With an 85% success rate, we have one of the leading recovery programs in the United States.
Each client will work with a Case Manager to assist with finding stable and affordable housing.
Each client is assessed for mental health issues. Clients will be referred to appropriate mental health professionals for further assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
